IOS5 is here

hi apple freaks as you all know today apple released ios5 for all users to download and enjoy the new 200 features in it , from what i say a lot of people are facing problem updating from itunes cz there is a lot of load on the servers which is expectable so here is a trick to download and apply the new update without the hassle of waiting or facing error 3200 and his brothers


first of all make sure you have the latest itunes 10.5 you can find that on apple site or by looking for updates using software updates .. next make sure you have backed up your iDevice probably and to do that you can check your itunes back up by going to preference and click on devices like this photo

after you checked your itunes and back up there are two ways to do it: 


- restore your device which will delete all your content and then restore from back up (this may take some time as we said before there is load on apple servers)

- download the ipsw for your device from here and manually restore it by doing like the pic below (hold shift if you are a PC user [shame on you] or alt if you are a mac user) then locate the file you downloaded and restore from back up when the installation is done by right clicking on your iDevice on the left side and choose restore from back up

hop you don't face any problems with that , i downloaded the files and backed up my iphone but didn't restore yet .. one more thing be sure not to use safari to download the ipsw file from the site since it won't save it as ipsw but as rar which will not be useful
